Text Box: RON’S NOTES

This is a special note to those who serve diligently in this Church. I want to say thank you to each of you that add to the ministry of this Church. One of the things that makes this a special place is the love that is shown for each other. As a minister, I see it every day. I hear the love through phone conversations, visiting, seeing needs being met, kind words, and the Love of God flowing through you. The things that I have the privilege to be a part of, such as a wonderful Sunday school class, a special Choir that enhances worship, gifted singers like the ones that sang Sunday. Musicians that use their talents for the Lord. You are a great group of people that God uses on a daily basis.
One other note concerning the Children’s Ministry. Many of you have said to me how much you appreciate the work that my wife does but the thing that says the most to Liz and me is the parent involvement and support that Liz gets. We appreciate that commitment. Thank you for supporting this ministry.
     Have a great week.
         				 ~Ron

Bucket of Hope - Haiti

The Hoover Daniel Circle is putting together a “Bucket of Hope for Haiti”.  Other groups are encouraged to support this effort also.   There are buckets in the hallway on the first floor with information inside.  You may also pick up buckets at the associational office across the street.  If you would like to deliver your buckets to the associational office, you must do so by Feb. 26.

February 15 – 21 – FOCUS on WMU and the

2010 Heck Jones Offering and Week of Prayer

The missions and ministries of WMU NC are made possible by your gifts to the Heck-Jones® Offering. The theme for 2010 is "Faces & Places of WMU NC", and the goal is $1.3 million.  WMU takes on many faces, including the promotion of special offerings such as the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering and Lottie Moon Christmas Offering.  WMU also promotes missions awareness through the CIA ministry for the children of the church as well as the Women on Mission groups.  WMU strengthens the missions vision of a church.  Stallings is truly blessed to have such hard working women helping to promote and lead in missions.  You can help our NC WMU continue their missions and ministries by giving to the Heck-Jones Offering.
